Since Glenn Martens‘ appointment as creative director in 2013, the Paris-based Y/Project has been defined by a conceptual and playful design approach, with a humorous take on historical references with a streetwear flair. Distorted proportions and silhouettes promote a characteristic genderfluidity. Y/Project is pushing the boundaries of contemporary fashion design with thought-provoking construction and deconstruction – focusing on the ideas of individuality and independence. In June 2017, the brand won the esteemed ANDAM Grand Prize, from the UK, one of the most respected recognitions in fashion worldwide.
